Team in Training

Racing to Save Lives

I have decided to train for my first half-marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training – running 13.5 miles to help find a cure for blood cancers and achieve a personal goal.

The event, the Big Lake Half Marathon, takes place May 12, in Alton, N.H., about two hours north of my new abode in Cambridge, Mass. I will race on the shores of the Big Lake, Lake Winnipesaukee, surrounded by the White Mountains and the Ossipee Mountain Range.

Team in Training, the world's largest endurance athletics training program, raises money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My goal is to raise more than $2,200 in honor of all the individuals who are battling blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma

I would appreciate any help or support in the endeavor. To find out more about my personal goal, please visit my Team in Training Web site.

Thanks,
Sydney
